Welcome!
I am Rebecca Hodgson, a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, and EMDR. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in the present moment—by gently exploring how our bodies, emotions, and patterns have been shaped by the past, and opening up to the possibilities of the here and now.
In our sessions together, we’ll slow down and listen to your body’s cues, the wisdom of your feelings, and the ways your nervous system has learned to protect you. With curiosity and compassion, we will differentiate what is old conditioning from what is truly needed in the present. This embodied awareness helps you respond to life with greater choice, vitality, and authenticity.
I integrate experiential and relational approaches, drawing from Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, EMDR, and other trauma-informed methods to support you in feeling grounded, present, and able to create the life you want to live.
I am a life-long student of this work and remain committed to my ongoing learning. I regularly participate in trainings, workshops, and professional consultation with AEDP faculty and certified consultants, EMDR-certified consultants, and Somatic Experiencing certified consultants to ensure that my clinical work is thoughtful, attuned, and continually evolving.
